This collage shows four stills from the filmdance "Walking Dance for Any Number" by intermedia and dance pioneer Elaine Summers, created in collaboration with Phil Nibblock 1969. The four images are arranged in 2x2, all black and white, with a somewhat grainy quality. The two top photos show the legs of Elaine Summers, wearing dark black boots, in end-step and in the next about to take a next step, the lower left shows the right leg as she is going off the same edge of a fountain in a public space. The lower right shows her in end-step from behind, ending in the corner of a 19th century style building. The words of the name of the work, "walking dance for any number", appear on the last of the four stills.
